Community Activities
- John Ryland will release the Hueytown High School compilation, The Ballad of Saints and Sinners under his personal book label on September 20th. This book, written by students under the guidance of John, allows students to experience the author experience through the writing, editing, selection, publication and marketing aspects of the profession. A launch party will be held at The Local in Hueytown on this date.
- Jennifer Horne continues to offer a weekly poetry break on her FB page.
- Carolyn Breckinridge continues to volunteer lining up regional authors for the monthly (2nd Tuesday of every month) Hometown Writers Spotlight through the Tuscaloosa Public Library, 5:30-7:00 PM.
