Sandy Hopkins Bio

Experience

Hopkins is a first-time author who is just finding the beautiful gift of writing.

After almost 40 years as a Clinical Social Worker, she retired. A year or so later, she lost her youngest daughter and these books came out of her grief. She began to think about her childhood back in the 50’s and the joy and adventures they experienced in a small community in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She decided to share those stories and add her daughters and sister. She’s thankful to her parents who made her childhood so wonderful. She considers herself a “Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one.”

Hopkins is an author, artist, actress, Social Worker, mentor and much more.
